1 . Ginger: Ginger Chicken

Ginger Chicken – It is a succulent dinner recipe. Ginger chicken has stir-fried chicken mixed with a host of spices and seasonings.

Chicken lovers, the trend is all over the world at all times! So, here’s a recipe for a lip-smacking dish of chicken to prepare quickly :

Ingredients required : (serves 1)

  1. Boneless chicken breasts – 2
  2. Ginger paste – 2 tablespoons
  3. Ginger finely chopped – 2 tablespoons
  4. Red chili paste – 2 tablespoons
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Egg – 1
  7. Cornflour – 3 tablespoons
  8. Oil – 1 tablespoon + for deep frying
  9. Dried red chilies – 3
  10. Chicken masala – 2 tablespoons
  11. Chicken stock – 1/2 cup
  12. Spring onions with greens – 2
  13. Tomato-milk sauce

Method :

1 – Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces. Mix it with ginger paste, 1 tbsp red chili paste, and salt in a bowl.

2 – Break the egg into the bowl and mix. Add cornflour to it and mix well. Keep it aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

3 – Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai/wok.

4 – Deep-fry the chicken pieces in hot oil till crisp.

5 – Heat 1 tbsp oil in another non-stick pan. Break the dried red chilies and add to the pan. Add chopped ginger and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the remaining red chili paste, chicken masala, and chicken stock, and cook till the mixture thickens.

6 – Chop spring onion bulbs and greens and add to the pan.

7 – Add fried chicken pieces and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.

2. Cinnamon: Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls – While cinnamon rolls are amazing to order, you can quickly prepare them at home with our secret recipe. It is a warm and succulent cinnamon recipe to accompany a cup of tea flawlessly.

These can be easily made using Ceylon cinnamon sticks or powder. In a little more than half an hour and with a few more ingredients, one can relish these cinnamon rolls.

Ingredients :

  1. flour/Maida – 1 1/2 Cups
  2. powdered sugar – 1 + 1/2 cups
  3. cinnamon powder – 2 1/2 tablespoons
  4. butter (salted) – 2 cups

(If using unsalted butter, add 1/2 tsp salt)

  1. milk – 1/4 cup
  2. baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Method :

  1. In a bowl add flour, sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 cup butter, and baking powder and mix it.
  2. Add milk to form a smooth dough and, Keep it aside.
  3. In another bowl add 2 Tbsp butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and 2 Tbsp cinnamon powder. Mix it till it’s a fine mixture.
  4. On a clean slab roll the dough in a rectangle. Spread the mixture evenly on the dough. Cut 1 cm strips (in width) and roll them delicately.
  5. On a greased tray place all these cinnamon rolls.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees C and Serve warm.

Turmeric: Turmeric Kulfi

Turmeric Kulfi – With just three constituents and a few steps, turmeric kulfi is the perfect summer dessert to relish with your family.

 

Ingredients :

  1. Full cream milk – 1.5 Litre
  2. fresh turmeric – 20 grams
  3. sugar – 300 grams

Method :

  1. Boil milk, and add fresh turmeric to it.
  2. Add sugar and let the milk boil until it is reduced to 1/4th of its original content.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicon molds.
  4. Freeze for 4 hours.

Cumin: Aloo Jeera

Aloo Jeera – aloo jeera is the quintessential lunch dish. It is something that people must’ve cooked or relished homemade every other day with piping hot parathas.

Ingredients :

  1. Potatoes – 200g
  2. Oil – 50ml
  3. Onions – 250g
  4. Cumin seeds – 10g
  5. Ginger – 20g
  6. Garlic – 30g
  7. Turmeric – 10g
  8. Red chili powder – 20g
  9. Garam masala – 5g
  10. Coriander powder – 20g
  11. Coriander leaves – 10g
  12. Salt

Method :

  1. Boil the potatoes and dice them. Chop the onions, garlic, ginger, and coriander.
  2. Heat oil and saute the cumin seeds, until they crackle.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and saute until golden.
  4. Stir in the chopped ginger and add the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, and chili powder. Toss them.

Black Pepper: Black Pepper

Detox water – Making herbal tea with black pepper makes it an adept great detox drink. One can add this to their morning ritual. It helps in flushing out toxins, promotes weight loss, and helps to radiate the skin.

Ingredients :

  1. 1 glass of water
  2. 4 black pepper (peppercorns)
  3. 2 cloves

Method :

1- Soak the black pepper and cloves in water overnight.

2 – Next morning, boil the water and strain it.

3 – You might add some pinches of lemon and salt to the water for immune health and stamina.
